Back 4 Blood is like a spiritual successor game of the Left 4 Dead series which was released on November 17 in 2008.
Both games were developed by the same game developer named The Turtle Rock studios. For this multiplayer zombie shooter which is valveās classic, several team members worked on this project. For the cooperative action in Left 4 dead, it was such a joy to play but when it comes to the Back 4 Blood, its gunplay, music, maps, stunning visuals, and enemies fall into place has nailed it. Its $59.99 price tag is worth the hype for the Back 4 Blood. But unfortunately, this game’s element doesnāt come together but they should come together. For this reason, this game leaves you with fun and somewhat flat at the same time.
Back 4 Blood is an FPS (First Person Shooter) game and itās a multiplayer game. You can play this game with the other 3 players and this team is called the Cleaners. The environment of this game is full of Zombies which knows as The Ridden. You along with your team have to reach a safe house by eliminating the zombies and completing the occasional sub-objective. To kill them you and your teammates will have to find the weak spots on their decomposed bodies and keep shooting that spot with everything you have.
But there is something to worry about in this game. Which sure to pull the rug under you. This ridden is called the āHordeā. A gigantic, seemingly limitless pack of ridden that will appear in uncountable numbers, cornering and crowding and shattering you from every direction.
Gameplay
When hordes come, you will get hurt and you will think when they stop coming. But if you want to go to the next level you and your teammate both have to try harder to get rid of them. To get out of this zombie crowd you have to be very careful. To get to a certain essential area, you need to activate a certain device and thatās. When you will trigger the horde and once they get triggered there is nothing left to do about it. While the horde attack there will be nothing left to do other than shoot, stab, stand on your ground and blow up those hordes as many as you can.
You will lock in a place if are attacked by the Hocker’s spit. Because it will paralyze you eventually. The giant right-handed will squeeze you with their giant right hand, they are called the Tallboys. Ogres are 20 feet tall and can wipe out your entire team with their devastating attacks. Back 4 Blood is far more advanced than Left 4 dead because of its special zombies and lots of other improvements. These monsters won’t wait for you in the ambush or there are no audio cues to signal the location of the monster they will just spawn and lunge.
Game Environment and Visuals
The visual in this game has been so much more updated than its spiritual successor Left 4 Dead. It bestrides the barrier between cartoonish and reality wildness by the highly saturated color which arises in the dark, factory, and cityscape environments. The lighting effect in this game is fantastic. The dusk light and the bluish fog through tree lines and the deep and red emergency light will make you realize how radiantly the developers embrace the lighting in the atmosphere of the game which will astound you.
But there is not much to see on the map. Because the entire game is set in a single town. In the total of 30 missions that you have to complete for this. You have to go through the specific areas in the town or the outskirts. You have to run back and forth for new objectives to cover. This game would have been more interesting if there are lots of other places to discover. But there are some interesting things like blowing the ship or racing through the quarantine facility.

To stay alive, you and your team have to enter a safe house otherwise you will die. Then from the deck, you will have to add a new card to your loadout. Which you selected at the beginning. This individual card will boost stamina, ammo load capacity, and health. In this game, you can revive others or can provide extra health items.
