Upcoming scorn horror game
Inspired by the artworks of the late artists Hans Reudi Giger’s biomechanical style. Zdzisław Beksiński of surrealism, Ebb Software first declared the game on 12th November 2014. So, the question on our mind is, “Why did it take so late?”. Well, Ebb Studios started a funding campaign on Kickstarter for the development of a scorn horror game in December 2014. Sadly, it was unsuccessful, but even so, the company didn’t stop developing this game. The good thing was, that luck was on their side. As an investor decided to invest in development. The game Scorn in 2015. The name of the investor, however, it never revealed.
After this, Ebb Studios started to work on the game’s production with renewed enthusiasm and vigor. Even with the funding, it took a long time. But, Ebb Studios launched another funding campaign for their scorn horror game in 2017. Still hoping for success after the unsuccessful attempt last time. However, this time, the campaign was a huge success, and they reached their required monetary goals within September 2017.

With this and the private funding, Ebb Studios announced that the game is scheduled to come out in the autumn of 2021. However, due to the pandemic. They had to delay the game’s release, and currently. If there are no other mishaps. The game will be released in the upcoming year 2022. An exact date was not announced. As they don’t want to rush into things and want to develop the game. So that it is much more than just a game.

Zdzisław Beksiński was an artist from Poland whose art style focuses on a dystopian version of surrealism. Surrealistic arts contain bizarre, weird drawings that make little to no sense. It considered the thoughts of the mind which we cannot express with words but rather culminates in an incredible amalgamation of art with just random bizarreness. Dystopia is the opposite of utopia. As you can see, the arts make no sense and yet manage to scream to the subconscious emotions within ourselves. So. A regression to our primal instincts to break free from the chains that keep our sanity intact.
Gameplay- Review
After seeing the different artworks, you can probably get an idea of what to expect from the game. So, Scorn is a horror adventure game played from the first-person perspective. It is an open-world game, But, players can interact with the environment and play as they wish. Throughout the journey in the scorn horror game, you will slowly acquire different skills to survive. Even so, it will not be enough. You need to be in a state of constant vigilance to save yourself from the constant attacks of the enemy. You will find weapons to help you, and as the game progresses, But, you will discover new areas, and new enemies and come up with new ways to comprehend them.
The developers wanted the game’s environment to be a character in itself. No, not like a character who’s alive, but rather, the environment itself will be an integral part of the game. It will tell a story that may raise questions or throw us into confusion.
Delve deeper into the world of biomechanical abominations in a surrealistic dystopian world, But, ponder the questions of humanity and see if you can save yourself from descending into madness.
