Gameplay

The NHL 97 uses a full 3d engine, with a motion capture polygon player – (only PC \play Station /Sega Saturn versions, Mega Drive and SNES versions maintain the same graphical quality as previous games, But with more advanced animation). Each goaltender has its own custom-painted mask. So, the actual artwork inside the game can see with a special “bullet mask viewer”. But, NHL 97 also introduce s play-by-play commentary.
