Final Fantasy XIV:- Endwalker is the fourth expansion pack of Final Fantasy XIV. It’s a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG). Final Fantasy XIV – Endwalker was developed and released by Square Enid for Microsoft Windows, Mac OS, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.  It was released on December 7, 2021, two years after the previous expansion of Shadow Bringers. Whose production was delayed by the Covid-19 epidemic?  Like its predecessors, Naoki Yoshida served as director and producer.

And also Masayoshi Soken composed the soundtrack. So, The expansion pack was released as a standalone product for current players. For new players, the “full version” was originally launched with Heaven’s Word. It was updated to include all extensions, including Endwalker. But,  In Endwalker, players travel to the desolate nation of Charlene to seek help in managing the upcoming final days. So, A catastrophic event threatens to destroy the entire world. When Meanwhile, Janos, the mad son of the former Emperor of Garfield. And also murdered his father and is now trying to clash with the player’s Warrior of Light.

Xenos is aided by Nihilistic Asean Fun Daniel. So, who wants the final days to happen for everyone, including yourself, to be wiped out? But, The story is marketed as the “end” of the hydraulic-zodiac arc. It draws an end to the current ongoing story. Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker with a whole new story beginning in the major patches after its release. So, In addition to adding new areas. The expansion pack raises the level cap to 90 and introduces two new character classes called Sage and Ripper.

Conclusion

This game has exceeded my expectation. I completed the Main Story Quests alongside all the side story quests as they appeared for a total of 100+ hours of pure Endwalker storytelling. The side quests added so much richness to the people and areas we visited while allowing me time to adjust emotionally and build anticipation for what comes next.

However, I often found myself wishing I would just do the MSQ because it was a ride I didn’t want to get off of. The main story paid off so much of my hard work in FFXIV these last 8 years bringing back characters. I visited in-class quests and even remembered myself and the work I had done. I took time to talk to all the NPCs near my quest before continuing further building my sense of relations with my main cast and together we braved the End.

And what an end it was. This game and its spectacle, the colors, the zones, and of course THE MUSIC, have forever etched a place in my heart at times. I felt like the game was showing me a mirror of myself. The story is heartbreaking and at times funny. The lore makes sense and no one and nothing ever mentioned in-game before feels forgotten. It’s almost as if this place and its people always exist and SE was simply showing me their world. I finished Endwalker with tears that had been flowing for the better part of 10 hours ranging from tearing up to full-on wailing in anguish. It lands every emotional beat it sets out to hit and earns each and every one of my tears.

It closes this story so perfectly and has solidified FFXIV as my favorite game of all time  I’m sorry but I have not a single complaint other than that I’m still shaking emotionally and can hardly enter the last zone without feeling like I’m about to cry all over again.
