It is a series of Capcom’s Mega Man video game franchise. It was developed by Inti Creates with co-producer KG Inafune and director Yoshinori Kawano. The series consists of four games, first released on Game Boy Advance. It later on Nintendo DS and Virtual Console (Wii U).
100 years after the Mega Man X storyline. The story unfolds and follows the re-awakened Zero, who is fighting a battle between man and replay, a self-conscious, human-like robot. Who has been oppressed and victimized by mankind worldwide? Power shortage crisis. Together with the anthropologist Seal, Zero replies help prevent resistance and fight other replies sent by mankind to destroy them. However, this is just the setup for the story and the events throughout the whole series vary greatly.

Zero died before the X series. But IntiCreates ends Zero 4 with a final note that any attempt to revive the character would insult his legacy. While IntiCreates will continue to work on the franchise for two more games. The game Mega Man Zero 4 brings the story of Zero to a touchy, pretty close.
